Tim Mason qualified as a Teacher in Physics & Youth, has spent 30 years working in the Youth & Community Sector in Dorset, Norfolk, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, London and recently covering the whole South West. Tim has worked in many different settings with Local Authority Youth Services, The Church of England, Alcohol Concern, Sargent Cancer Care for Children, The Prince’s Trust. Within these settings he has developed some innovative initiatives, which have gained national recognition.
In recent years he has worked for his own company Practical Sagacity Ltd as a Consultant working within community partnership development. Over the years he has been a Governor at Bexley FE College, Salisbury College and Wiltshire College, where he was the Vice Chair of the Board. A past Trustee of various community groups one of which was the Uplands Educational Trust, developing Charity Shops for younger people with disabilities. Tim is passionate about building sustainable, diverse and inclusive communities and current voluntary work includes Alzheimer’s Society, Let’s Hear in Portsmouth (UK) and District involvement in Rotary International.
